Chuchotage

This is a very common form of interpreting where the interpreter sits next to the person and whispers whatever is being said in real time.

This type of service is normally requested when the client or clients do not necessarily take part in discussions, but want to be aware of what is going on in whatever setting they are (press conferences, exhibitions, presentations, political rallies, etc.

The interpreter then normally sums up in real time whatever is being said.
